Also note that changes for 2010, which were revised in January 2009, include the following:

·          Points for the 2010 state youth world team will be counted from May 2009 through April 2010.  If you were nominated in 2009 (horse/rider combination) those points will be included after a new competition card for 2010 is submitted.

·          Amateurs that are nominated for both the Amateur Select and Amateur categories, must provided the Point Secretary a list of which classes should count toward which category in the event that the classes are combined.  Please note that AQHA rule changes now require the show to combine the classes if there are less than 3 entries in either class.

NEW NOVICE AWARD RULES

Awards will be given to the High-Point all Around Youth & Amateur up to $125 value!!!
All 3 Novice shows will count towards the award.
Awards will also be given to the reserve high-point youth and amateur up to $75 value.
No frills attire is requestedat all 3 shows. Prizes will be posted on the website.
