TQHYA Prepares for the World Show

The youth of TQHA have just completed their state qualifying for the 2009 AQHYA World Show.  We have 16 youth who plan to compete on the Tennessee Team.  There is also interest in the speech, judging, boots and jeans contests.   The youth would like to thank Barbara Fisher and Show Management, Regions 1,2,3,& 7 as well as TQHA for donating stalls for our stall raffle.  Thanks to all the individuals who continue to support TQHYA.  We couldn't do it without you!

Tennessee Representatives Travel To Texas

For three days in June our youth advisor, Kaye Rutherford, along with Meredith Noah and Abbi Rutherford spent time in Amarillo, Texas at the Youth Excellence Seminar (Y.E.S.) and the AQHYA National Convention.  They attended leadership seminars, met representatives from across the nation and voted on important youth issues.
