TQHYA TEAM INFORMATION
Each year Tennessee sends a team to the Youth World Show and the All American Quarter Horse Congress. If you plan to participate there are important rules you need to know about. Contact Tina Freeland, Youth Advisor, at t33equus@aol.com for more information.
- AQHYA Youth World Show – Points for determining youth team to Youth World will follow AQHYA timeframe May 1 – April 30 based on best 10 goes.
- Quarter Horse Congress – Points for determining youth team to Congress will be from September 1 to August 10 based on best 15 goes. Qualifying classes are Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Reining, Hunter Under Saddle, Horsemanship, and Barrels.
- Youth must sign up for Competition card membership for points to be calculated for Congress and World Team participation.
