TQHA Scholarship Information
The TQHA Youth Scholarship program was started as the result of TQHA holding a winning ticket for a Jeep through a AQHYA fund raiser. A TQHA member purchased the Jeep and the resulting $10,000 was placed in a CD to start the funding of the TQHA Youth Scholarship.
Youth that are actively involved in TQHYA should submit a AQHA scholarship application, available on the AQHA website, and then submit a copy of the form to Dave Whitaker, 314 West Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
The following guidelines were established for the TQHA scholarship:
Priority would be given to seniors in high school who were going to enter college the following fall.
The scholarship is good for any two or four year accredited college, university or trade school.
The scholarship would be sent to the Director of Finance of the school to be attended.
