Tennessee Quarter Horse Association Hall of Fame 2026 | Inductee #17
Dann & Lynn Riegle | Thompsons Station, Tennessee
Servants of Horses and TQHA
For the last four decades, Dan and Lynn Riegle have been avid supporters and contributors to TQHA and the horse world, having shown extensively and giving back as leaders in the association.
Horses Mr. Oakie Scotch, Irresistible Reward, Dream Hobby, Mos Doc Chocolate and McRange were constant names on the microphones at shows as winners. Over the years, these horses guaranteed numerous year-end All-Around awards for Dan and Lynn.
As servants for TQHA, Lynn served as point secretary for five years and ran her horse tack business at shows for twenty years providing last minute items at the shows as well as major tack investments at a low profit to herself. She was an excellent source of information on tack type and fit and quick to help newcomers and those in need. Her business allowed TQHA to give better year end awards for the money. She kept aware of what folks wanted and needed, and she supported TQHA’s Novice programs and events for new members.
Dan served the Amateur Association as President and TQHA as Second Vice President, was a great networker, and promoted amateur involvement whenever possible. Both Lynn and Dan served on the Show and Contest committees as well as the TQHA Board of Directors.
The success of TQHA for the last six decades has depended on people who not only care about their horses and showing but also care about TQHA and its members. Dan recently said, “We hope in some way our efforts met the needs and wishes of TQHA as it has grown over the years.”
For their steadfast support and leadership, we induct Dan and Lynn Riegle as the seventeenth members of the Tennessee Quarter Horse Association Hall of Fame.
