VS Code Red Western Pleasure Challenge

Lucky Seven Classic | April 29 – May 3, 2026 | Murfreesboro, TN

The VS Code Red Western Pleasure Challenge will debut at the Lucky Seven Classic this year, adding a focused, high-quality opportunity for Western Pleasure exhibitors. Designed to highlight developing horses and riders, the class is limited to horses four years and older with less than $5,000 in earnings as of January 1, 2026, creating a competitive but level playing field. The Challenge will feature two divisions, with the Non-Pro showing on Friday and the Open on Saturday, each offering $5,000 in added money. Each class will be run as a single go and judged by three NSBA judges, with placings determined on the average.

Beyond the added money, the class brings meaningful awards and recognition. Winners of each division will receive NSBA trophies, along with prizes from Harris Leather & Silverworks, including a silver headstall for the Open Limited Rider Champion and silver spurs for the Limited Non-Pro Champion. Additional recognition will include neck ribbons for Open Champion, Open Limited Rider Champion, Non-Pro Champion, and Limited Non-Pro Champion, as well as commemorative big check presentations for each division winner. A special cumulative trophy will also be awarded to the horse that competes in both the Open and Non-Pro and earns the highest combined placings across both classes.
